The Ziola family has cared for the land at Iron Kreek Ranch since 1947. Today Kevin and Roxanne Ziola, the third generation, raise beef and lamb there under the Prairie Gold Pastured Meats name.
The herd is Lowline Angus: small, efficient cattle that fatten on nothing more than green growing grass. No grain, no hormones, no growth promoters, and no synthetic fertilizer or sprays on the land.
The beef and lamb are Certified Grassfed and Animal Welfare Approved by A Greener World, and sold straight to families by the share.

Fill Your Freezer
An eighth of a beef fits in 2 to 3 cubic feet of freezer; a whole beef needs about 18. Pay the deposit online, or pay ahead monthly by e-transfer to kev-rox@hotmail.com (text 403-352-0662 so we can track it) and skip the interest. The balance is settled at pick-up, once the final weight is in.
